We’re so excited to announce the June and July launch of Big Blue Door’s Summer Harold Run! This summer we’ll present two amazing summer performance teams, Cork Royale and One Per Customer, each presenting a “Harold”–-the original longform improv set. From an audience suggestion, each team will use an “opening” to develop ideas, then turn those ideas into three separate storylines, interspersed with group scenes, and then they’ll bring the elements together to find common connections and themes that explode into a universe of comedy!
It’s fun, it’s fast, it’s fluid–it’s everything summer should be!
Plus this summer we’ll invite you to return with us to the cool breezes under the shady awning of beautiful Afton, VA.
We launch in Big Blue Door’s studio on the top floor of McGuffey Art Center on Friday, June 19th with a 7pm show! It’s $10 cash or Venmo. One Per Customer hosts joined by Big Blue Door co-director Joel Jones. With Cork Royale opening.
Then we return a couple weeks later to Big Blue Door’s studio of McGuffey Art Center on Friday, July 10th with another 7pm show! $10 cash or Venmo. Cork Royale hosts with One Per Customer opening.
Then we head out to beautiful Afton, Virginia to perform at our fave outdoor locale, Cardinal Point Winery. It’s improv under the awning with delicious wine and audience members are invited to bring snacks or picnic treats! It’s a 6:30pm show on Saturday, July 25th. $10 cash or Venmo. One Per Customer hosts and Cork Royale opens joined by Big Blue Door co-director Joel Jones.
