Join Big Blue Door on Tuesday 9/14 on the downtown mall for Words at the Wall! This is a free celebration of speech and community produced in collaboration with The Bridge PAI. Everyone is invited to participate! The show runs for 6-7pm. Big Blue Door performers will start off by reading bits of famous speeches, and then the public will join in. Listeners are invited to guess the dates, origins, and speakers of the texts to win candy or cheap trinkets!
This event is part of a week long celebration by our friends The Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative. They’ve taken over management of the community chalkboard on the downtown mall (Often known as the ‘Free Speech Wall’) so they’re planning a week-long rededication with events and gatherings. Come hear some speeches and deliver some!
