This spring, join Big Blue Door for Improv 3: Beats & Beyond, the culmination of our basic three-level improv program! Improv 3 lights up your skills from Big Blue Door Improv 1 & 2 and explodes them into a universe of fun! You’ll learn to create group scenes, group games, and group openings; you’ll explore third beats and connecting story lines; finally you’ll put it all together to perform the “Harold”–-the original and most popular longform structure.
Improv 3 is about working with other performers as a tight, dynamic, versatile unit to question, investigate, or just make fun of anything from the silly to the sublime. Eight sessions plus a class showcase! Best of all, we have two Improv 3 courses, one on Sunday and one on Tuesday.
Prerequisite: completion of Big Blue Door Improv 2.
