Join Big Blue Door’s winter team, The Vortex, as they host a night of improv comedy featuring their friends!
We’ve got The Vortex themselves, performing a set called a Sleepover in which every improviser plays one and only one character to create an imaginary network of friends and family. It’s a fun form that takes surprising turns–and different from any other improv you’ve seen!
But that’s not all! The Vortex cast will also be performing something of their own making called, Momprov! It’s a series of scenes with parents, moms, dads, stepmoms, and stepdads, in different locations. You’ve never seen the reality of parenthood like this. And to add to the fun, they’ll be inviting members of our amazing middle-school trio, Y3K, to join them, because what is parenthood without the kids?
But that’s not all! We’ll also have a sneak preview of an experimental form called, The Life of Marie Gaglione, which features the actual life of Marie Gaglione, Big Blue Door’s resident diarist and van inhabitant!
