The brains behind BBD’s Vinegar Hill shows, longtime BBD improviser extraordinaire Deborah Arenstein and longtime BBD improviser extraordinaire Rachel Showalter have teamed up with longtime BBD improviser extraordinaire Marjory Ruderman and longtime BBD improviser extraordinaire Keaton Ray to lead two teams of amazing comedians for a brand-new monthly show.
Featuring longtime Big Blue Door headliner Big Head Fight plus a brand new ensemble of some of our favorite performers, Goat Rodeo Comedy Co was launched to give Charlottesville a monthly show of home-grown professional comedy groups. These aren’t just funny people; these performers are rehearsing and performing together for far longer than other improv or theater groups in the area, and the results are fantastic. They’re taking it to the next comedic level.
Goat Rodeo Comedy Co. is not just offering Central Virginia’s best improv comedy ensembles; these are two of Central Virginia’s best performance ensembles of any kind.
