Join Big Blue Door Friday, 10/3 for First Friday Improv! It’s 90-minutes of Charlottesville’s smartest, funniest comedy and October feature’s the premiere of a brand-new team!
The first Fridays of every month are McGuffey Art Center’s official art openings, featuring new monthly exhibits in the galleries all over the building, and whenever possible Big Blue Door joins the festivities with performances in our studio! The art downstairs is free and the show upstairs at 7pm is only $10!
October is going to be a doozy because we have three groups performing together.
We have Y3K, our amazing middle school trio sharing the joys and sorrows of middle-school life; (Trust us, if you haven’t seen them, you must see them!) Plus the Yearbook Prophets who convert the confusion of the past and future into a glorious present.
Finally, we have the premiere of On Air, the show in which veteran performers create unscripted, completely original radio shows and podcasts, and then use those as source material to inspire a whole world of characters and scenes!
