SEPTEMBER!!!

Big Blue Door is ready to roll out our great new improv classes and shows this fall! Maybe you’re ready to try improv for the first time! Maybe you know a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who is ready to try improv for the first time! Maybe you have a diary, journal, or love letters to share in our new show on Sept. 20 show at Vinegar Hill!

This September there’s something for everyone at Big Blue Door! 

LEVEL 1: CHARACTER & SCENE: Join Big Blue Door on Sundays from 3:30 – 5:30 pm, starting Sept 7th for Improv I: Character & Scene! This is BBD’s signature class with eight sessions and a final class performance that’ll teach you how to create life-filled characters and hilarious comic scenes! Absolutely no performance or theater experience necessary!

MIDDLE SCHOOL IMPROV: At Big Blue Door the fun isn’t just for the adults! Sign up that 6th, 7th, and 8th grader in your life up for Middle School Improv, our seven-session comedy course with real improv training for middle schoolers. We meet on Saturdays from 1-3 pm starting Sept 13th!

UPDATE: This show replaces our Dear Diary Show. Big Blue Door performances are back at the Vinegar Hill Theater starting Saturday, Sept 20th with our biggest show yet!

Day’s of Future Past will include the first performance since last winter of Y3K, our amazing middle-school trio; the return of the cast of our summer show, How To Get Away With Improv, now remade as Big Head Fight, and the closing set by our brand-new team, Yearbook Prophecy. They’ll be creating a world out of the stuff people wrote in your yearbooks, so bring a yearbook to read! Everyone who reads can win a prize!
