This Saturday, August 17th, don’t miss Big Blue Door’s final show of the summer when Big Blue Door comes to The Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative! It’s 90-minutes of one-of-a-kind comedy, Charlottesville’s only longform improv comedy, which means smart, sharp, honest, and funny! Hosted by Joel Jones!
Plus enjoy delicious Potter’s Cider! We’ll start the night with the return of improv duo His & Hirsute featuring veterans Nauder Namaky and Marjory Ruderman. They’ll premiere a brand new form based on an audience suggestion. It’s like getting to miss work to attend a training video–and then learning that the training video turns out to be 35 minutes of great comedy!
Next up we have duo Getting Late featuring veterans Keaton Ray and David Luzader performing as a duo for the first time. They have a brand new form to premiere!
But that’s not all, folks! Performers from our recent summer improvs groups return for a final hurrah before the fall begins! Katie Straight, Otter Moutenot, Susan Gorman, and Dave Priest from Snuffy the Fire Squirrel join Kirk Martini from Hula Pants for a form called a monolog deconstruction!
But that’s not all! After a brief intermission for more delicious Potter’s Cider, everyone will come back for a final grab-bag montage! All that for only $10 cash!
Don’t miss it!
