The show is called ‘The Buildup’ because the acts build up toward a final group spree of comedic camaraderie and humorous humanity!

before awarding the jam First, there’s a true story by Big Blue Door co-director, co-founder, and storytelling teacher, Joel Jones. It’s a tale of friendship, fur and folly, of sororities and suffering, and it’s set in the streets of Charleston, SC.

But that’s not all!

Brian Brian Weisbrod, Big Blue Door’s longtime improv coach and improv performer (Remember OK Stupid?) has been away coaching teenager soccer (true story), but he’s back for one night only and he’s bringing a brand-new standup set!

But that’s not all!

Screen Shot 2018-10-18 at 10.14.26 AM  Jessie & Nauder aren’t just the hosts and producers. They also perform as an improv duo featuring intense characters, offbeat connections, and usually at least one break-up scene!

But that’s not all!

bridge shows Brian, Jessie & Nauder are joined by BBD veteran improvisers David Luzader, Keaton Ray, and Deborah Arenstein to present a set of longform improv comedy featuring Joel as monologist! The stories and improv work together, back and forth, to dig down into the heart of existence. And mock it thoroughly!

And The Bridge has also delicious Potter’s Cider for you to enjoy while the rest of this is going on!

That’s two fabulous hours of some of the smartest, funniest comedy anywhere for only $10! But it won’t be the same if you aren’t there…
