Thanks everyone for coming out to Big Blue Door’s First Friday Improv show Friday night at McGuffey Art Center with The Bitter End and Driver’s Ed!
The Bitter End (Will May, JL Lawrence, Keaton Ray, Erik Swanson, with me sitting in) presented the first harold, inspired by the audience suggestion of ‘Wine.’ We met a confused workplace bully, some retail salespeople who added too many zeroes to credit card sales, plus pomegranate eaters, and existential children’s clowns.
Next Driver’s Ed (Larry Goldstein, Deborah Arenstein, Max Hoecker, KIrk Martini, Finn Mehigan, and Sally Trude) presented a harold inspired by the audience suggestion of ‘Train.’ We met natives encountering their first settlers, two guys who’ve never checked anything off their bucket list, and bus travelers to nowhere.
Both groups returns together for a montage of quick scenes from multiple audience suggestions including ‘Jet Pack,’ ‘Flabbergasted,’ and ‘Saucy.’
If you’ve enjoyed seeing this or other Big Blue Door improv shows, why not sign up for improv yourself? We have our last Improv I of 2016 starting next Tuesday at McGuffey Art Center. Follow the link for details!
Big Blue Door’s next show will be this Saturday, October 15th at DMR Adventures. (This will be an 8pm show rather than our usual 7pm)
