Barhoppers is show of short, original plays set in a part and performed in a bar. It was a yearly highlight of Charlottesville life through the nineteen-nineties and into the twenty-aughts. It’s loads of fun and not a huge time commitment compared to full-length plays.
Here’s the info direct from Offstage:
Auditions are Sunday, January 17th and Monday, January 18th at 7 pm in the UVA drama building (109 Culbreth Road, room 115C)
We have roles for men and women of all ages in our fantastic lineup of 7 short plays. (Each play is about 10 minutes long.) Plays will rehearse on a flexible schedule and performances will take place February 28,29, March 1; March 6,7, and 8 at some of our favorite local watering holes: Firefly and Rapture!
