Big Blue Door starts the month with a new performance as part of McGuffey Art Center‘s invitation-only fundraising night on Thursday, October 1st. The evening will feature a silent auction, a preview of our McGuffey’s history and art exhibits, and refreshments, plus a 40th anniversary cake. If you’re interested in contributing to McGuffey Art Center, stop by the office and ask to be added to the guest list.
Speaking of McGuffey Art Center‘s 40th Anniversary Celebration, the fundraising is Thursday, but the grand public shindig is Friday, October 2nd as part of First Fridays. There’s the official art opening, a time capsule, plus wine! And stick around for a 7pm show by Big Blue Door’s fall performance ensembles Catawampus and Dance Monkey in Studio 20. We’re asking for a $5 suggested donation and the first $100 goes directly to the McGuffey Art Center! Big Blue Door: First Fridays Improv
