Thanks Pickle & Kathmandu!

pickles Thanks everyone for a fabulous show last night at C’ville Coffee to officially kick off our summer Harold Run with Big Blue Door’s improv ensembles Plan A and Mogli Mogli de Brogli!

Plan A opened the night with short true stories inspired by the audience suggestion of pickle. Then they riffed on the stories to create improvised story lines about a couple that really loves pickles, a woman suffering from nose blindness, and an office gofer who rises to become president! Along the way we visited Complaints about the Persians Society and their Persian counterpart, plus dogs just being dogs!

Mogli Mogli de Brogli’s Harold used a ‘doc opening’ inspired by the audience suggestion of Kathmandu and developed a Harold with a visit to a mountain with a college-folklore major whose mother dresses as Thor, a high-end boutique whose owners is overly wedded to puns for business ideas, and two friends one of whom wants things to be romantic! Plus we saw an episode of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader’ and more.

After the intermission both ensembles joined together for a Montage from audience suggestions of ‘Gladiator,’ ‘Blue,’ ‘Marriage,’ and ‘Zipper.’

Highlights include the couple whose catsuit got stuck, visits from the Guinness Book crew, and the cures for sadness:

Also last night featured a special sneak preview of upcoming show, OKStupid. OKStupid, the warped brainchild of Nauder Namaky and Brian Weisbrod turns your bad dates into funny improv with interviews, improv, and more.
