Big Blue Door‘s famous introduction to longform improv. Eight weeks of exercises, games, and a final class performance. We’ll have another Improv 1 starting in October!

IMPROV III: The Harold
Sundays 4-6pm at McGuffey Art Center
Starts September 21st!

Our culmination of Big Blue Door‘s longform improv training for students who have completed Improv 1 & 2! This class explores group games, group openings, and ‘third beats’ as students learn to perform the Harold, the original and most popular longform structure. Eight sessions plus a class show.

The Kinda Late Show returns with longform improv comedy. Graduates of Big Blue Door’s improv program split into duos and trios to present a never-seen-in-Charlottesville improv form called Smallprov: instant, hilarious 10-minute character-based comedies.
