Mendy St. Ours and Martyn Kyle have both told stories at Big Blue Door Jams and taken improv from our Live-Arts-sponsored improv classes, and they are the lead roles of Four County Players current production of Taming of the Shrew. It should be a great show.
Speaking of Live Arts, in addition to the improv showcase for the current Live Arts-sponsored improv classes, which is on Tuesday, May 21 at 8 pm, Live Arts has a fairly new play up that was developed by the famous Steppenwolf company in Chicago. It’s called, August: Osage County. It’s been a big hit on Broadway. The Live Arts production features Big Blue Door Jam storyteller, Leo Arico, several improvisers–Larry Goldstein, Lisa Grant, and Mary Coy–and Bill Rough who took our Sketch Writing Workshop recently.
