Storytellers, short story writers, essayists, poets, and performers of all descriptions, our friends over at The Bridge Literary Crew are putting on a fabulous show called Scheherazade, and they need you!
Scheherazade is an eclectic reading & performance series that features stories, poems, dances, songs–anything that you might want to share. The show is Valentine’s Day at 7 PM, and the theme is Raunchy Love Letters. Says Elizabeth Derby of The Bridge crew:
Past years’ love letters ranged from pretentious break-up emails to encounters with soul mates, from salacious verse about lady parts to Tom Cruise whackjobs…
Mine the depths of romance for filth or gold. Titillate us with tales of true love or come sing your backseat love songs.
